Full Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Christiana - Evening ShiftClassification: NursingDuties and Responsibilities:
Christiana Hospital is the only Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Our Emergency Department sees approximately 96,000 (2,600 trauma)patients annually.
Average of 275 patients per day.
76 Patient Rooms, including state-of-the-art trauma resuscitation facilities.
8 and 12 hour shifts, (11a-11p),(7p-7a) and (3p-3a) are available.
Excellent paid educational offerings include ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Trauma Resource Nurse Orientation and courses included in the Christiana Care Education Catalog.
REQUIREMENTS: RN license in DE required; 6 months nursing experience required; Cardiac monitoring preferred; ACLS certification preferred; previous critical care experience and/or ED experience preferred; strong communication skills required and a commitment to service excellence.
