Registered Nurse Case Managers Needed

Our Case Managers are responsible for managing cases involving complex, or catastrophic illness or injury to ensure cost effective and efficient utilization of health services. She/he acts as a patient advocate, seeking and coordinating creative solutions to patients’ health care needs without compromising quality of outcomes. Case Managers may be specifically geared to certain disease management; for example, high-risk maternity, asthma, HIV or behavioral health.
REQUIREMENTS
Along with a current Texas RN license, the successful Case Manager, RN must be a self starter with a demonstrated history of:

• Successful Managed Care experience,
• 3-5 years advanced clinical experience in OB, NICU, or Pediatrics
• 2-3 years of case management experience,
• Strong assessment and patient interviewing skills,
• Handling complex clinical situations with emphasis on managed care,
• Creativity and the ability to think outside of the box, and
• Computer literacy

A BSN, community health experience, Texas State TILE certification, and fluency in Spanish would be a plus.
