Registered Nurse-11p-7a Rehab Nurse/New 16 bed Unit

We're focused on becoming the recognized leader in clinical quality and customer satisfaction in every market we serve.Brightwood Center is a 110 nursing facility offering sub-acute and long term care, and opening a NEW high end rehabilitation unit Fall 2006.Will be assigned to work 11 PM - 7 AM Monday - Friday (1 weekend per month) on a new 16 bed rehab unit.Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.Job Requirements
This position requires a current Registered Nurse license issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
Up-to-date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
Recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
