Registered Dietitian - Staten Island, NY

As a Registered Dietitian you will provide overall nutrition care to patients at a long term care facility located in Staten Island, NY. You will assure that the nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation as it relates to patients nutritional status is complete and accurate. The Registered Dietitian directs activities of institution department, providing quality food service and nutritional care. Directly reporting to this position are the Diet Technicians.


Job Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (BA) from a 4-year college or university. This position requires Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and Licensed Dietitian status, if residing in a state with licensure. The ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with clients, customers of client and support staff is required. The ability to write letters, summaries and reports, using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style is required. The ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations is required. Requires management and leadership skills and the ability to work with confidential employee, client and ARAMARK information. We require that all ARAMARK HMS employees have a completed background check and drug screen on file.
