Job Responsibilities:







Request and analyze data to identify potential overpayments, and assess potential for financial recovery.

Identify recovery opportunities through the detailed review of informational and data sources.

Utilize investigative tools and techniques to determine whether a case involves potential fraud or abuse.

Conduct investigation of highly complex cases from initial allegation to resolution.

Meet or exceed targets established for recoveries.

Assistance in the development of operational processes within the team as well as policies and procedures.


Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications:

5 + years of healthcare environment experience and a strong understanding of core coding and medical terminology.

Extensive investigative experience.

Healthcare recovery experience or corporate collections experience.

BS/BA degree.

RN or pharmaceutical degree.

Proven track record in investigations and the identification and pursuit of recovery opportunities.

Proven healthcare data analysis experience.

Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet research and applications.

Strong customer focus and negotiation skills.

Excellent oral and written communication.

Ability to search out and identify recovery opportunities independently.

Sensitivity to medical, legal, public and statistical measures used for the investigation of fraud and abuse.

Proven ability to forecast pipeline opportunities.

Straightforward communication of current opportunities.

Persistent in the pursuit and realization of opportunity collection.
