This is a full-time Monday through Friday position. RN Nursing Supervisor performs responsible supervisory and professional work in directing and coordinating all nursing units. The individual must have had advanced training and broad nursing experience including supervisory duties. The work requires administrative ability, knowledge of training techniques, ability to adapt techniques and procedures in accordance with unusual situations, and the exercise of initiative and good judgment. This position requires that the Supervisor take call every 4 weeks for weekend coverage. You must be able to be reached via telephone on your on-call weekend. If you should have to go in to the facility, you will be bonused. The work is carried out according to standards of professional nursing practices, center policies, rules and regulations, and State and Federal standards.Job Requirements
The RN Nursing Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and there must be current registration with the professional board of nurse examiners of the state.
Experience in the nursing field, especially in geriatric.
Supervisory experience in long term care is required.
