RN Research Coordinator, Leukemia Program

Serves as a liaison and resource expert with the Hematology/Oncology Investigators, H/O Program Support personnel, Oncology Team Program Coordinators, participating outlying clinics, ancillary services and all clinical peers. Functions as the research representative for participating families. Office of Grants & Research employee serving as a dedicated and integral team member of the Hematology/Oncology Department Leukemia Research Program.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: RN with required BSN and Master's degree preferred; Minimum 1 year as a Research Nurse/Coordinator in the oncology field preferred; Minimum 3 years pediatric oncology experience; Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas; Prefer certification as research professional through Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates or obtain within two years. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required; Effective problem-solving and critical thinking; Enthusiatic team player; Self motivated & able to multi task; Detail-oriented; Proficient in word processing (Word) and comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel).
