The Atlanta Center for Foot & Ankle Surgery is located in Sandy Springs. We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse with OR/PACU and two years experience. Monday – Friday, No weekends –No Call, Great Benefits
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
•Assesses assigned patients as well as plans, implements and evaluates care.
•Directs and assists in providing safe, aseptic technique and procedures.
•Performs as a circulating nurse as assigned, including such duties as surgical preparation of the field, assisting the sterile surgical team by obtaining supplies and equipment.
•Identifies patients prior to surgery, checks the chart to verify that proper hospital work-up has taken place.
•Interviews patient and utilizes systems review to assess patient prior to, and throughout, the surgical procedure.

Requirements:

Reports to - OR Clinical Manager
•Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Georgia Nursing License.
•Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to the OR within a probationary period.
•Minimum of two years OR circulating experience required
