In keeping with our core values, and functioning under the supervision of the Director of The Neurosciences Institute and physicians, the Neurosciences Clinical supervisor acts as surgical coordinator of The Neurosciences Institute within the role components of technical, educational, communications, administration and research responsibilities. The Clinical Supervisor provides consultation to the Parkinson's disease and movement disorder patient. Performs according to the standards set forth by the Neurosciences Institute medical and administrative directors and by the policies and procedures of Mercy Healthcare.

Requires CA RN license and current CPR certification. BSN degree preferred. CNOR and RNFA accepted. 5-10 yrs experience in surgical nursing, supervision, and patient care. Past experience in clinical trials, preferably in neurology. Experience in stereotactic radiosurgery preferred. Experience in post-operative support groups with neurology patients. Experienced in clinical research protocols. Experienced in concepts of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and in rules of Informed Consent. Experienced in use of Clinical Research Form (CRF). Knowledge of regulatory issues and experience working with investigation Review Board (IRB).
