Weekend and Holiday Rotation RequiredThe RN is an essential member of the healthcare nursing team providing leadership and facilitation of the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well being of patients. Through utilization of the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the RN provides, delegates, supervises and documents care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions. Actively participates in performance improvement. Demonstrates effective problem solving and analytical thinking skills.Personal Characteristics needed to provide quality, compassionate care include:

and the ability to relate effectively to patient, families, staff and other hospital departments.Qualifications:Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Computer proficiency is required. Utilizes CPSI for nursing documentation.Licensure/Certifications:
Current RN License by North Carolina Board of Nursing in good standing. Applicants with RN License in another state must obtain licensure by NC Board of Nursing prior to employment.
BCLS required for all RN. Advance certifications may be required depending on the department.Experience:
None, may be an entry level position.
Previous clinical experience in medical and/or surgical nursing preferred. Possesses an ability to function in a high stress, physically demanding role.
