Karcher Estates is looking for an MDS to work on our 66 bed Health Care unit in Nampa, Idaho!

More about our facility and team: Karcher Estates is nestled off of one of the main streets in Nampa, on 5.4 acres of land. This is a continuum of care community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living and Health Care. Residents have the luxury of choosing the area that most meets their needs without having to find another place to live. It is not unusual for a resident to recuperate from surgery in our health care and return to their apartment in Independent Living. Our dedicated staff of Department Managers have an average tenure of 6.4 years of service. Combined the Executive Director and the Director of Nurses average 8 years of tenure. This position is full time.

Coordinate the timley development and completion of resident assessment (MDS)
Coordinates the development of written plan of care for each resident.

Small, 66 bed nursing which is a part of a continuum of care community which includes Independent Living and Assisted Living.

Duties include: doing assessments and resident plans of care. Identifying resident needs and encorporating those needs into the Minimun Data Set required by CMS. Coordinate and develop written plans of care for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident and indicates the care to be given including the goals to be accomplished ans which professional service is responsible for each element of care. Meeting deadlines, assuring assessments are completed according to the guidelines set down by CMS. Ability to use the computer in order to develop the MDS/care plan.
