Eden Medical Center is a 275-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving residents of Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The medical center was built by the Eden Township Healthcare District in the midst of the post-war baby boom and first opened its doors in 1954. Since its affiliation with Sutter Health in 1998, it is jointly governed by the Eden Township Healthcare District and Sutter Health. Coordinates professional nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines, maintains standards of professional practice. REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Two years previous clinical experience in L & D and OB nursing. Current CA RN license, NRP and BLS certifications. Previous experience in nursery preferred. Must attend a fetal monitoring certification class every 2 years.
