The RN House Supervisor will:
Serves as a resource/facilitator for patient care and assumes responsibility for Patient Care Services/Nursing Administration duties on nights, weekends, holidays and weekdays when other hospital and Department Managers are not available.

Assesses the current and pending bed designations with relation to staffing issues and then works with the staffing office to expedite patient room assignments on the floors.
Provides back-up to nursing staff for basic nursing assessment, procedures and protocols. Intervenes and attempts to contain conflicts involving, but not limited to: nurse/nurse, nurse/physician, customer/nurse, family member/nurse and interdepartmental issues.
Coordinates all after-hours media calls.

The RN House Supervisor must possess the following:
Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho.
BSN degree preferred. Must be CPR certified; ACLS preferred.
Must have three years Medical/Surgical experience.
Must have excellent public relations and leadership skills with the ability to successfully prioritize workloads, analyze situations, and work intelligently under pressure.
