RN/Organ Recovery Coordinator encourages and coordinates the donation of human organs and tissues for transplantation. Our ideal candidate is an RN or other healthcare professional with ICU, OR or ER experience for this challenging and exciting opportunity to help save lives! Must be available for 24 hr. on-call rotation including weekends and holidays. This is not a 9-5 position; it’s a career lifestyle. Responsibilities include:



Donor medical management
Coordination of the organ recovery process by matching organs to recipients in need
Interacting with donor families
Providing public and professional education




Communication Specialist serves an intricate role by evaluating & coordinating organ/tissue/eye referrals, closely interacts with donor families while obtaining informed consent, donor medical screening and coordination of recovery services. This is a 24/7/365 operation with current openings for (2) PT and (1) FT, night shift position, which include weekend & holiday work.



The ideal candidate must maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service while demonstrating:



An understanding and commitment to support organ, tissue and eye donation and transplant,
Quality in a respectful, dynamic, regulated environment
Knowledge & proficiency of computer/database systems, multi-tasking and high level of critical thinking.
Minimum 1 year recent medical training and experience preferred
