RN - Certified Nurse Midwife / Women's Services Quality

This position will report to the Director of Quality & Risk Services and will be responsible for the following: conducting chart audits, Infection Control surveillance, quality data collection, risk management duties, providing staff education and reviewing/revising policies and procedures. This position will also take call within the ER and deliver direct patient care and medical services that are delegated by the Medical Director and within the scope of advanced practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife, utilizing practice guidelines approved by the Medical staff. REQUIREMENTS


Qualified candidates will have the following experience: Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the state of Texas, Current registration in the Texas Advanced Practice Registry as a Certified Nurse Midwife within one year of completion of training, Current certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) or ACNM Certification Council (ACC) within one year of completion of training, At least 2 years clinical experience as a CNM preferred, At least 2 letters of reference from individuals familiar with CNM's experience or training, NRP, BCLS. Fetal Monitoring course (AWHONN) is preferred.
