RN - 80 Day/Midnight - Wilmington Intensive Care Unit

We have it all here at Wilmington Hospital Intensive Care Unit: Flexible self-scheduling, clinically strong staff, managerial support, incredible teamwork, and an excellent mix of adult medical and surgical patients with a wide range of needs. Our team consists of motivated, intelligent, dedicated and highly respected nurses, patient care techs unit clerks, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, social work, utilization review, clinical nurse specialists, chaplaincy and physicians.Our staff is very involved in governing the unit with participation in various committees such as performance improvement, scheduling, interviewing and safety. As a closed staffing unit, WICU nurses are not pulled to work in any other unit in the hospital. We have a unit-based pharmacist, staff development specialist and working manager. Our nurses are integral members of the code response team. As STAT nurse, we respond to in-hospital emergent situations providing comprehensive critical assessment and assist with stabilizing the patient.Here you will find respect, patient care, skill enhancement and interdisciplinary teamwork are paramount. Requirements: RN with DE license required. One year Med/Surg experience required.
