The University of Maryland Medical Center, an innovative 655- bed teaching hospital, has a position opening for a progressive nutritionist.

Responsibilities of this role include:
•Active collaboration with the healthcare team
•Assessment and monitoring of patients receiving enteral and parenteral nutrition
•Mentoring of dietetic interns

Focus of this patient population includes medical and surgical oncology in the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center.


Qualifications include:
•RD certification and licensure in the state of Maryland is required.
•A Baccalaureate Degree or Masters of Science in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or related field is required. Master's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or related field is preferred.
•Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association is required. Licensure in the state of Maryland as a Dietitian or Nutritionist is also required.
•A minimum of two years of Registered Dietitian experience at a hospital facility.
