The position requires in-depth knowledge in at least 3 specialty areas such as Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Special Procedures, Radiation Therapy, etc. Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed service documentation according to JCAHO and department policy. This associate serves as a proactive team member to enhance customer/supplier relationships within the organization, demonstrated by effectively communicating repair status; developing downtime procedures and alternative equipment sources, and is authorized to order repair parts as needed to ensure uninterrupted delivery of patient care and treatment services. This associate operates as an effective team member assisting department and facility associates as needed; interacts with the departmental customers to ensure equipment is maintained in the most cost-effective manner, with minimal downtime, enhancing physician and patient satisfaction. Demonstrates his/her support of the CE department’s business goals and objectives of systematic and effective control over the selection, safety, maintenance and performance of CHRISTUS Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging equipment, to achieve service excellence in areas of responsibility. Responsible for tracking and trending user errors in areas of responsibility to identify clinical user training needs. Develops, coordinates and performs clinical user training as required. Identifies cost savings opportunities and works with the Regional Supervisor to develop and implement recommendations.
