QI Specialist

Specifically, the QI Specialist arranges and schedules site surveys and audits, provides a written summary of the survey/review and assists network providers with improvement opportunities where deficiencies are identified. This position reports to the CCHP Manager of Quality Improvement, and works closely with other health plan staff, network physicians and other providers to identify clinical quality issues, recommend actions for improvement, and educate with regard to QI principles and processes.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Licensed clinician: RN , will accept other disciplines with appropriate experience - Knowledge of ADA, CLIA, OSHA guidelines, and TDI, HHSC, and NCQA requirements preferred - Quality experience is preferred - Utilization review and case management experience beneficial - Basic computer and data entry skills beneficial. Must be able to provide own transportation to office sites in the North Texas area. Occasional travel to office sites outside of the North Texas area is required.
