These services are provided with care, compassion and competence to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and our community.Department: Public SafetyFTE: 0.3 0.0Status: Part Time (25) RegistryShift: PM’s VariesRequirements:Monitors an assigned area for purpose of deterring crime or misconduct and for detecting and initiating corrective action on security and safety hazards. Responds to all calls of alarm or disorder, assesses the situation, and acts accordingly. Enforces the hospital security rules and policies and apply restraints as it becomes necessary in the support of the mission according to the established policies. Writes reports to document occurrences and related facts as such incidents are received and checked. Controls traffic in the area of Emergency Room and Parking Structure. Monitors fire lanes and ensure compliance with hospital parking regulations. Checks all doors in assigned areas, secures for alarms, or unlock as needed. Maintains department equipment including vehicles, radios, keys, handcuffs, badges, barricades, etc. Observes and adheres to safety regulations and practices. Basic knowledge of security procedures as acquired through one (1) year of related experience.
