POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Project Manager – New Vascular Access CentersACCOUNTABILITY/REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to Director of Strategic GrowthJOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects related to the establishment of new vascular access centers. Oversees and manages completion of internal activities during the new center opening process for up to 16 projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, communicates, monitors and summarizes progress of project activities to ensure project is on time/on budget. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Responsible for working with teammates to resolve issues impacting center opening. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May perform a variety of center opening tasks in the future. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedules kick-off meeting to begin transition of signed contract from Business Development to Operations team (Marketing, Clinical Operations, Finance, etc.)
Develops and manage project plan for each new center being established (up to 16). Manages weekly dashboard for all projects under management and conducts weekly update conference calls. Develops and maintain tracking tools for status of critical activities at a more detailed level.
Conducts regular phone calls and follow up with all resources on status of pre-center opening deliverables. Monitors progress to ensure key activities are competed on time, and work with functional areas to assist with problems. Functional department maintains accountability for completion of activity/deliverable.
Identifies problems, obstacles, and other issues related to project progress. Works collaboratively with internal department/function to identify solutions and work toward resolution. Tracks problems and timeline slips to mitigate impact on project implementation.
Utilizes master project plan/dashboard to identify systemic issues, problems and opportunities for streamlining/increasing efficiency. Works across functional departments to establish and implement creative solutions, process changes, and/or action plans.
Follows project progress until access center is actively treating patients, and the open house is conducted. Responsible for smooth transition of new center activities and client relationships to appropriate function/department (regional operations and account management).

Conducts debrief meeting for each center opening to identify key learnings and areas of continuous improvement

Back up for Administrator (during vacation, etc.) in coordination of telecommunications and utility transfer.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree required and PMP certified preferredEXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

3+ years as a project manager leading cross-functional teams. Healthcare industry experience preferred.
Experience with project management software.

Ability to develop project plans and schedules.
Quick learner, and can understand and manage complex situations with limited/appropriate level of knowledge.
