Join Our Team!This position is responsible for working with business users to define and developing solutions for the company through the use of advanced technological tools. This position will work closely with the Director of Systems Development to design and deploy strategic initiatives that provide the company with the use of updated technology. This position will define and implement solutions according to these strategic initiatives. This position will provide technical assistance to departments having existing solutions and work with those wanting to create new ones.Work with Business units to help to define and develop requirements for enhancements to existing systems.
Develop requirements and provide an analysis of missing functions in commercially available software against business unit requirements.
Design and deploy software solutions based upon the HealthCare Partners design and architecture guidelines.
Develop interfaces or software solutions which implement strategic objectives or advance the access, synchronization, or presentation of data between systems and to users.
Performs and assists independently in software coding, testing, debugging, documentation and installation of solutions, which may have database connectivity through Microsoft SQL Servers and/or Oracle servers.
Maintains existing solutions and develops new platforms or procedures to solve complications that arise in the future.
Develops solutions to streamline business processes to achieve departmental and company wide goals more effectively and efficiently.
Participates in vendor proposals, implementations, and management by assessing the cost and benefits of vendor products and materials.
Communicates status, problems, resolutions, etc. on projects and assignments.
Evaluates and recommends new technologies for solution architecture and to contribute skills and knowledge to other database and reporting projects as determined by management.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Over 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience.
A high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
Four year Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Technical field.
Working knowledge of the following: Database design and implementation, System interface design, Client/Server Technology, Report generation and presentation tools, Visual Interdev, Internet Technologies such as COM, MTS, Application integration tools such as Microsoft Biztalk.
