Oversee organizational development activities that develop and foster strong working relationships among the members of the management team. Principal Accountabilities: Responsible for client relationships and contract management. Direct all daily operations including: - business development, program development around the entire scope of Evercare programs and services including acute Medicaid, ASO partnerships and Long-Term care - support the Counties efforts around network development and service expansion - delivery of covered medical care and other services/benefits - efficient operational infrastructure to support business site and goals - strategic planning and implementation - staffing, employee development, and human resources - financial management including profit and loss, budgeting financial forecasting and active plan development - serves as key liaison between site and Corporate - Recruit, select and retain highly qualified professionals; provide the leadership necessary to maintain a motivated, productive and competent management team through open communication and delegation of responsibilities and authority; guide and direct subordinate executives in their personal and professional development. Scope of Responsibility The Program Director will direct the development the operations of the NY State Contract for Integrated Medicaid and Medicare Plan and the CMS contract for Dual Special Needs Plan. The primary focus of the IMMP is to organize and deliver quality, efficient and cost-effective medical care and health services to eligible members This senior leadership position will be responsible for executing strategies through a decentralized and matrix management structure to meet or exceed annual goals and objectives in four areas: sales and development, clinical operations, site operations and staff management. This position has profit and loss responsibility for the specified products and programs and must develop and manage an annual budget.


Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in business or health. The ideal candidate will have profit and loss (P&L) experience in a health care or managed care environment, a proven track record of program leadership and development, with experience in Medicaid/Medicare government programs or Medicare fee for services highly preferred. Specifically, it is important the candidate have experience or thorough knowledge in the following areas: - Demonstrate leadership skills and the proven ability to lead, motivate and organize teams - Experience in a matrix environment - Extensive experience in business/market development - Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and development - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
