The CPE (Center for Preoperative Evaluation) Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the CPE Coordinators and works with the Practice Manager to ensure smooth patient flow, retrieval of information from outside the CPE, as well as communicates with patients during their visit to ensure high patient satisfaction and the efficient use of CPE resources.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
' Supervises 11 CPE Coordinators
' Utilizes algorithms provided by the CPE Director and Practice Manager to organize patient flow.
' Ensures that CPE Coordinators utilize resources to accurately generate patient paperwork and appointment information.
' Assists providers and CPE Coordinators in solving individual patient problems and scheduling issues.
' Monitors utilization of computerized tracking system in order to promote smooth patient flow and accurate reporting.
' Monitors daily activity and patient volume in order to determine proactive steps that will decrease patient wait times and maximize CPE resources.
' Oversees all CPE Coordinator activity and works with management to create a smooth, reasonable and accurate flow of work through the CPE.
' Performs additional duties as determined by management in the scope of providing high quality service in the CPE.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrates organizational and leadership skills, preferably in a medical office setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Problem solving ability.
