This center serves a mixed population of short-term rehab patients and long-term residents. The facility recently concluded and expansion and renovation of the physical plant. This building is highly supported by the local community and is a great place to work.Henry County is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the southern Piedmont region of Virginia. Our borders are shared with Patrick County to the west, Franklin County to the north, Pittsylvania County to the east and the North Carolina line to the south.There are two incorporated municipalities within the boundaries. The independent city of Martinsville lies in the geographic center of Henry County and the town of Ridgeway is located in the southern part of the County. Unincorporated communities within Henry County include Fieldale, Collinsville, Bassett, Stanleytown, Spencer, Laurel Park, Axton and Chatmoss.In the early days residents made their money from tobacco. REQUIREMENTS
Full time opportunity for Physical Therapist at this 120-bed facility. Evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician's treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
