We are seeking a self-motivated, licensed professional for our Overland Park team. As the Pharmacy Technician, you would input prescriptions, verify client information and make outbound calls to patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices as needed. In this role, your ability to multi-task while maintaining quality and production standards would be essential. Primary responsibilities include:


Inputting/processing daily prescriptions


Verifying client information


Making outbound calls to patients, pharmacists, doctor's offices and insurance companies


Engaging in customer resolution, including claims issues, coverage verification, adjudication issues, etc.


Creating mail correspondence for members/customers


Documenting all customer calls in a computer


Job Requirements:

The candidate must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician. Customer service or hospital experience as a pharmacy technician is needed. A history of claims processing, reimbursement or dealing with third party administrators is preferred. Solid typing skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
