Primary responsibilities include:


Working as part of a pharmacy team and processing orders


Managing therapeutic or reimbursement issues


Entering new patients and new/refill prescriptions into the system


Contacting physician offices and patients to assist the pharmacist in managing exception orders


Filling prescriptions


Assisting with inventory


Job Requirements:

The chosen candidate must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician; those with PTCB certifications are preferred. Professional experience in a retail, mail order, long-term-care or hospital setting is needed. A background in reimbursement/claims issues is essential, and prior interaction with third-party administrators is a must. Experience with adjudications issues and coverage verification is necessary. Customer service experience is highly preferred. Computer proficiency is required, including typing skills.
