Pharmacy Technician (A refreshing change from retail!)

We are seeking talented Pharmacy Technicians with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills to join our Overland Park team. In this role, you would input prescriptions and contact doctors, patients, and pharmacists to verify appropriate information. We offer an ideal working environment, great hours, and an opportunity to gain valuable experience.



Primary responsibilities include:


Inputting prescriptions


Calling and writing to patients, pharmacists, doctors' offices and insurance companies


Documenting all calls


Resolving claims issues


Verifying patient information and coverage


Meeting processing and quality standards


Assisting in other areas as needed


Job Requirements:

This position requires a licensed Pharmacy Technician, as well as previous experience in a Pharmacy Technician role. A background in reimbursement, obtaining verification, adjudication, and other related experience is essential. Customer service experience is needed. Computer proficiency and typing skills are a must.
