Full Time & Contingent opportunities availableGeneral Summary: Responsible for preparing drug products and intravenous solutions for distribution to inpatient and outpatient care areas, including the surgical patient care areas. Works under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist in the medication distribution process and does not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a Pharmacist, and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of CHMC.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Pharmacy Tech Certification preferred. Complex math skills that demonstrate the ability to prepare and formulate pharmaceutical products and work with financial data. Basic knowledge of keyboard and typing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and interact effectively and courteously with external and internal customers, including senior management, medical staff and various other individuals.
