Pharmacist

Department: PharmacySchedule: Full-timeShift: Variable shiftHours: 9:00pm - 7:00amJob Details: Qualifications: - PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy. - Registration and licensure current with the Wyoming State Board of Pharmacy, or the ability to become licensed. - Ability to manipulate vials syringes torsion balance, computers, handheld devices, FAX and packaging machine. - Ability to use Pyxis hardware and software systems. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Carry light loads (up to 40 lb.), stooping, kneeling, sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hr.) and must be able to physically operate equipment used in the job. - Able to interpret and evaluate physician orders, patient profiles and information patient medical records. - Ability to visually check for accuracy of a final product and written materials. - Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.Works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor. Provides pharmaceutical care to the types and ages of patients defined by the pharmacy scope of practice. Assists the department and patient care areas in identification and resolution of patient safety issues related to medication use. Provides clinical services to patients and health care providers, including but not limited to, counseling, drug information, dosing calculations, pharmacokinetic consults, chart reviews, and disease state management. May have other duties as assigned. Supports the mission, vision and values of United Medical Center.
