The Speech Language Pathologist performs evaluation and treatment services for patients with speech, language and/or swallowing disorders. Services are provided on primarily an inpatient basis and by consultation to outpatient settings. The environment is fast paced and provides professional challenge and growth, as our patient population is medically complex. The SLP will also have the opportunity to do modified barium swallow studies. Experience with FEES is a plus. This is a per diem position.
REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in speech pathology. Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Massachusetts licensed speech and language pathologist with a minimum of 2-3 years acute care experience. We require experience in the evaluation and management of dysphagia and modified barium swallowing technique.
