The Department of Pediatrics at Gundersen Lutheran is seeking a .5 FTE board-certified pediatrician for pediatric urgent care. Hospital call/service is not a requirement of this position. The candidate will join three other pediatric urgent care physicians in a recently redesigned pediatric urgent care system. The Department of Pediatrics consists of 14 general pediatricians, a variety of pediatric specialists and 13 associate staff. Our pediatric specialty areas include allergy/asthma/immunology, behavioral health, cardiology, dentistry, developmental and behavioral, genetics, hematology/oncology, neonatology, nephrology, surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and orthopaedic surgery. Pediatric inpatients are cared for on a 19 bed inpatient ward, 8+ bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 4 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
