We have a part time position available for an RN/LPN in our Kid's First Pediatric Practice located in Hockessin, DE. The nurse in this role will asses patients that come in to be seen, triage emergency patients who come in the office, perform telephone triage, conduct on site lab testing, administer immunizations and provide immunization education to families, provide general patient education as needs are identified, and perform various nursing procedures. Other responsibilities include dispensing and tracking sample medication, performing treatments and screenings, as requested by the health care provider. Prior pediatric experience preferred. REQUIREMENTS
Applicable state license to practice professional nursing. (DE)
CPR certified.
Existing RNs will be required to be CPR certified.
Graduation from an NLN accredited school of nursing or college.
At least two (2) years prior nursing experience is preferred for this position.
Pediatric experience is preferred.
Ability to provide comprehensive nursing care to children with moderate to complex problems.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Ability to work in a team setting with multiple responsibilities.
