REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS:Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Current licensure as an RN in the applicable state
National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by PNCB or ANCC.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Graduation from an accredited pediatric nurse practitioner program with an MSN.Three years of tertiary pediatric experience.Previous experience with cardiac and/or critical care experience preferred.PALS certification.Credentialed by the credentialing board of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia within six months of hire.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Advanced physical and psychosocial assessment skills for patient and families across all developmental levels.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Critical analysis and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret laboratory and radiographic data.Ability to develop evidence-based plan of care founded on physical examination finding, patient history and laboratory data.Ability to work collaboratively through consultation with other health care providers
Ability to coordinate and implement multiple tasks simultaneously
