Function: NursingPay Type: Non-ExemptPosition Number: 10192919 Part-Time RNEmployee Type: Part Time Shift 1Job Description: SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, dispensing over the counter and prescription medications as ordered, performing required health assessments for specified programs. Other duties include, conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing, spirometry testing or audiometric testing<(>,,<)> maintaining OSHA, State and team member health records, and participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs. Other responsibilities include, assisting with team member health promotion, education and training programs, and identifying workers' compensation cases, assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers' compensation files, and performing other duties as the need arises.QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum academic preparation includes completion of registered nurse accredited school of nursing program and current license to practice as a registered nurse in state of employment.Experience: 1 plus years experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to Occupational Health Nursing, preferred. Current CPR/First Aid instructor certification, preferred. Communication, problem-solving and organizational skills desired.Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating simple letters, spreadsheets or creating simple queries. May require knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System.Difficulty Of Duties: Work activities are variable and require judgement to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results and coordinating with others.
