Eight Mile N and R, is a 172 bed skilled nursing facility that emphasizes superior medical staff specializing in geriatric and rehabilitation measures to offer a wide range of in-house services. Our team is comprised of Physicians, Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Rehabilitation Therapists, Social Workers and Registered Dieticians. Our nursing staff is the key element in creating a nurturing and caring environment for our patients. Key responsibilities include :
Identify and communicate with patient/family regarding care needs.
Implementation of appropriate nursing care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Assess, monitor, and treat specific resident care conditions pursuant to physician orders.
Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory agencies in the areas of infection control, safety and direct patient care.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduated from an accelerated Nursing Program
Licensed in the state of Alabama.
Current CPR certification required.
Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current rehabilitative principles and practices.
