Physical Therapist for McDowell County Home Health Clients
Full Time Position - Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, or other hours as scheduled to meet patient care needs. Normally does not work weekends. Staff Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops care plan to treat patients, uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis, supervises and coordinates therapeutic care. Communicates evaluation results to patients, families and appropriate staff. Teaches and mentors other staff, provides screening or consultation, and participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvement.Required Education:Graduate of CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program with Master Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical TherapyRequired License: Licensed by North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners as PT. Must possess North Carolina Drivers license. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report required due to professional liabilty insurance requirements.Certification: BCLSRequired Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Physical Therapist. Thorough knowledge and understanding of indications and contraindications of treatment techniques and modalities.
