PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (JOB # 13833)
Seattle, WA

Provide corporate-wide technical support in the following pharmaceutical role:
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in assisting Clinical Pharmacy Consultants with non-clinical issues
Support prescription benefit for 800,000 members
REQUIREMENTS
Combine your technical experience with the following skills:
High School graduate; college graduate preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail, hospital or other licensed pharmacy setting or equivalent experience
Must be a Class A Pharmacy Technician currently licensed in Washington State with at least 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, clinic pharmacy, managed care company or equivalent combination of education and experience
Graduate of a certified pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical products and Health care coding systems
Preferred experience with health insurance and/or prescription benefits
Grammar skills and techniques of business practices
Effective communication skills with a variety of healthcare professionals
