Performs duties and routine technical tasks such as taking vital signs, collection of specimens, weighing patients and assisting patients with basic hygiene and daily living activities. Maintains the patient's room in a clean and orderly condition. Specific duties may vary by area assigned, for example, EKG and blood drawing in the Ambulatory Division.
REQUIREMENTS
Work requires level of knowledge of basic patient care methods, medical terminology, procedures and techniques, generally acquired through the completion of a patient care training program.
Applicant must be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Exceptions may be made for High School Co-Op students who are Certified Nursing Assistants.
