REQUIREMENTS
Skills: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to learn diverse bodies of knowledge relating to clinical areas where nursing care is delivered.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and standards of the practice of nursing process.
Ability to recognize patterns of practice in those people being assessed and conceptualize a meaningful, relevant action plan for professional development.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with staff, educators and leadership.
Demonstrates computer literacy in MS Office.
Must have a basic understanding of job roles of those employed in hospital settings.Experience:
2 years of clinical nursing experience. Previous experience with data collection and analysis preferred.
Experience in nursing staff development preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or state with reciprocity.
Must successfully complete PBDS rater certification within 12 months of hire.
