PATIENT CARE TECH

We are currently seeking a PRN (on an as needed basis) Patient Care Technician. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, The Patient Care Technician performs basic patient care related tasks, which contributes to the maintenance of a safe and comfortable patient environment and performs a variety of support functions for the unit. Additional duties include assisting the Nurse in providing and documenting basic physical care consistent with the patient and family's age-specific needs.


Education/Experience preferred:

-High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

-Six months experience as a CNA or EMT preferred

-A graduate of an accredited nursing program

-CNA's must be certified as a CNA in the State of Illinois; Licensed EMT
