Fair Compensation
Compensation for your profession is market competitive: (pay grades are currently being revised with new a new hourly rate structure soon to be in place.) Benefits are excellent with extremely low co-pays for full health insurance. A single person pays just $10 bi-weekly, a family $30 bi-weekly. The retirement plan is also very good with a matching program in addition to a generous amount put in your retirement for each and every employee. We have a signing and retention bonus over the course of three years of $30,000. A very competitive relocation package offered.
Eligibility for Loan Repayment up to $20,000.00 per Year
In order to help assist these underserved people, the Indian Health Services (IHS) has loan repayment programs available. Loan repayment is not guaranteed with offer of employment, as all employees must apply directly through Indian Health Services. Since this is not absolutely guaranteed, we ask that you do not make this program your sole reason to come work in Bethel. Instead, look at it as a potential added bonus for serving your underserved fellow man.

The Opportunity
Candidate must be willing to take call. Our OR nurses do Pre-OP and Post-OP. The RN will need to Circulate Surgery’s and do Endoscopy. We have 1 OR room, 1 Endoscopy, 1 Section Room, 5 Bed Pre-Op hold and a 2 Bed Recovery Room. Will also consider an RN who is experienced as an Endoscopy Nurse. Continuing education- $1,100.00/ a year per person (Also expecting increases)We don't do major surgery, orthopedics, or critical cardiac.

Traveling Nurses: We are looking to develop our own pool of RN's. We offer round trip transportation, lodging, and an excellent hourly rate. We will be at or above agency compensation.

Flexibility: We are not opposed to looking at creative staffing programs such as job shares.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution. Minimum experience preferred 1 (one) year Operating Room experience. In addition, must be licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS & ACLS. The successful candidate will be required to pass and maintain competencies for this position. Office equipment (i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copy machine)Medical equipment (i.e. Datascope, infusion pump, Zoll defibrillator).
