Urology Sales Representatives/Specialists are responsible for representing and promoting Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation as a leader in the pharmaceutical community and marketplace. Incumbents will be required to promote a highly technical and innovative product to a specifically defined urology audience while being dedicated to meeting and exceeding sales objectives. The development of relationships and maintaining an active presence with the most productive urologists in the community and associated organizations will be essential elements of the position. Customers include office-based physicians, medical directors, key office & nursing personnel, among others. Identification and development of thought-leaders and area speakers as well as conducting programs will also be important aspects of this role. There will be involvement with assisting in developing and implementing national and area strategies. Promotional funds will need to be used judiciously to maximize sales and accomplish goals with the appropriate return on investment. The Urology Sales Rep/Specialist will represent a consistent "CUSTOMER FIRST" approach to business activities & relationships. A willingness to travel over a broad geography is required (some territories up to approx. 30%), although specific accounts or metropolitan areas of coverage will be defined. Candidates must reside within the open territory. Best place to live is Orange County or greater LA area.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience At least 2 years of experience in oncology/urology/institutional/specialty sales. Computer literacy i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint Candidates must be self-motivated, possess a high degree of technical expertise, have exceptional selling skills, be team-oriented and must be familiar with the Oncology community.
