Oncology Inpatient Director
DIRECTOR OF INPATIENT CLINICAL ONCOLOGY
The position - A Hospital in Louisville, KY has an opening for a Director of Inpatient Clinical Oncology and is responsible for the operations of the medical oncology and BMT units. The director will lead clinical nursing practice, having administrative oversight, new program development, marketing, community outreach, financial management and effective human resource management.
The Director will set the tone of collaboration between all departments of the Hospital, patients and family, faculty and staff, as well as, area schools of nursing and allied health, ensuring excellence in patient care.
The Candidate - BSN required. MSN, MHA, or MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in cancer program management with progressively responsible administrative responsibility related to oncology services required. Clinical experience with a diverse oncology patient mix. Bone marrow/stem cell transplantation & previous experience in an academic facility a plus. Certification in Oncology, ONS Chemotherapy trainer preferred.

REQUIREMENTS
