Occupational Health Account Executive

Five facilities strong, Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region serves the greater Sacramento area with a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive cancer centers, the world-renowned Sutter Heart Institute, leading mental health services and a Pediatric ICU.Employees of the Sacramento Sierra Region work on behalf of the Sutter Health facilities in the greater Sacramento area.

The Account Executive executes sales agreements and builds relationships in order to optimize occupational health business with targeted employer customers. Responsible for the design, implementation and follow-up required providing a comprehensive and highly targeted sales approach to employers and other referral sources of occupational health and specialty services. In tandem with the Occupational Health Client Representative, coordinates new services to existing customers. Directly increases employer market share by initiating and maintaining positive relationships according to cooperatively developed sales and marketing plan.
REQUIREMENTS


Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field or equivalent education and experience.

Experience: Must have progressive sales experience (preferably in selling services vs. products) in a health care setting working with employers,

third party administrators, and physicians. Marketing/Sales plan development experience required.

Knowledge and Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal, human relations and negotiation skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report-writing skills required. Must have ability to work independently and throughout the system to solve problems. Must possess strong service orientation with sensitivity to employer needs. Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with physicians and all levels of staff. Analytical thinking required. Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience required. Knowledge of California Workers' Compensation Laws desired. Must possess a valid California driver's license.
