Medical DegreeGundersen-Lutheran Medical Center, a 400-member multi-specialty group located along the picturesque Mississippi River in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks an additional member to join our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our department consists of 13 obstetrician-gynecologists, two internists; nine certified nurse-midwives, five nurse practitioners, and three physician assistants. Perinatology and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility are active divisions within the department; gynecologic oncology services are provided in a cooperative agreement with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, we are able to provide high-risk obstetrical care to a 19 county area. Approximately 1600 deliveries are performed here each year, of which 40% are delivered by the nurse-midwifery service. Available within the AIUM accredited department/institution are ultrasound, colposcopy, carbon dioxide laser and urodynamic equipment. Gundersen Lutheran is a tertiary care center that is also the Western Teaching Campus for UW-Madison. Call rotation will be 1:8.
