The Nursing Supervisor is a qualified, licensed professional who is responsible to assist the local office Management team in the overall management, direction and compliance of clinical services in accordance with the policies and procedures of Option Care, state and professional standards and all Health Care regulating entities. In a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency this position may also serve as the alternate administrator. See Job requirements below.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a license in the current state of practice.
Two years home health care experience.
One year of management experience in home health care.
Knowledgeable regarding State, Federal, local, JCAHO, and OSHA rules and regulations.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
Flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with Management team, professional and paraprofessional staff, patients, caregivers, physicians and referral sources.
A four-year undergraduate degree is required if the position serves as the alternate administrator for a Medicare certified agency.
Infusion therapy experience.
Prior supervisory experience.
Ability to work under stressful conditions.
Ability to get to the job site.
