Key responsibilities include:


Providing a wide scope of coaching and mentoring for the cardiac telehealth team, consisting of 10 to 14 clinical and non-clinical personnel


Ensuring projects, programs and alerts are executed correctly


Working on issue resolutions for the department, and consulting with management when necessary


Leading and participating in team meetings


Disciplining, hiring, firing and evaluating staff performance


Training new hires on processes and procedures


Backfilling for staff nurses as necessary

Job Requirements:

Only licensed RNs in Texas will be considered for this role. Clinical experience is also needed, preferably in cardiac, CCU or ICU. Supervisory experience is a must. A background in managed care is preferred, as is experience in an outbound call center. Disease management experience is a plus. PC proficiency is a must, and candidates must have at least an Associate's degree. BSNs would be best equipped for this role.
