Nurse Supervisor (3P-11P)

HealthBridge Management has 15 locations in Massachusetts offering Long Term Care, Neurorehabilitation, Sub-Acute Services, Alzheimer/Dementia Programs and Behavioral Health.

HealthBridge is currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor (3P-11P) for our Concord, Massachusetts facility, a 135-bed skilled nursing facility. Concord Health Care Center is a flagship facility that is a premier patient first healthcare center. Concord HCC is conveniently located directly across the street from Emerson Hospital on Route 2, just two miles from Route 95, walking distance to historic Concord Center.

You will assist Director of Nursing Services in all of the following functions:
• Nursing Care
• Staff Development
• Care Plan and Assessment
• Resident Rights
• Safety and Sanitation
• Administrative
• Committee
• Personnel
• Equipment and Supply
• Budget and Planning

Additional Responsibilities:

• Your activities in these functions should always set the example, focusing on quality of care, compassion, professionalism and consistency.
• Ensure that all nursing staff complies with procedures and regulations.
• Reviewing documentation of treatments, charts and patient's treatment plans.
• Making daily rounds in nursing departments to ensure that all staff is performing as expected.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that treatment orders are followed.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active Massachusetts state license to practice as an RN.
LPNs are not being considered for this post.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, personnel and the general public.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory abi ty and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
• Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
