REQUIREMENTS
You would work under the supervision (direct or indirect)of a group of five hospitalist's, providing medical care to 8 to 15 patients on Faxton's inpatient service. Responsibilities include obtaining a history, performing an examination, and review of studies, and appropriate documentation of above. Formulation of a treatment plan will be done in conjunction with the supervising physician, who will review the above information as well. You will be asked to perform history and physical examinations on patients entering the inpatient service via admission or consultation, formulating a differential diagnosis, and providing a plan of therapy to be discussed with the supervising physician.Faxton St. Lukes Hospital is a 434-bed acute care facility that serves one of the most diverse communities in the nation.
